Gear and Weights

Here is a list of stuff I like to take with me and the weights. In general, I've found it is nice to keep your pack lower than 40 lbs, although I've done up to 80 lbs or so on slow, long treks (5+days). Just depends on your pain level :)

Blue     = has not been weighted and is an estimate or has been removed.
Orange = is not included in pack weight (usually worn on hike in).
Purple = can be be removed/replaced to reduce weight.
*         = not yet in pack.
